Multicolor Flash Cabinet by Gisbert Weiss, Germany 1990s

Colorful chest of drawers ‘Multicolor Flash’ designed by Gisbert Weiss in Germany 1991/92. The material is plywood with HPL and the cabinet was made in a limited edition of 13 pieces.

Gisbert Weiss worked for Alessandro Mendini in Milano, Italy. They have collaborated on design projects among others for Alessi.

Gisbert Weiss and Maria Bowen (Spain) launched the fashion label ‘Gisbert’ in the late 1980s and with each collection they designed limited furniture pieces. Each furniture item has an edition of 13 pieces worldwide and was produced in Munich, Germany.

Their work appaered in various european magazines incl. Vogue, Schöner Wohnen, Elle Decoration, Playboy and more.
